Sheba - Husky - 6
Sheba was surrendered by extended family in Illinois after her owner went into hospice and ultimately passed away. She was alone in her house with someone coming to check on her each day before coming into our rescue, so she has some separation anxiety to work through.
Since she has some fear of abandonment, she is understandably most comfortable when she can be with you - that’s when she’s most content. If she can see you but can’t get to you, she howls. Sheba would do best in an environment where someone is usually around, and no shared walls - we don’t think Sheba would make friends in an apartment building or a townhouse until she comes around to the fact that she’s not being left again.
Sheba walks well on leash, but does pull a bit, so she’s looking for someone to help her learn some leash manners.
This pretty girl has a smooth, short coat, and her best trait - her curly tail! It’s the cutest.
Sheba was spayed prior to coming into rescue, so she’s up to date on everything and ready for adoption!
Adoption fee: $625
