Who we are

Established in 2025, NORDIC Retreat + Rescue was founded by Kristina Knutson, who spent a few years volunteering with animal welfare organizations and eventually knew this is where she needed to be.

NORDIC Retreat + Rescue specializes in Nordic breeds, such as Samoyeds, Siberian Huskies, and Alaskan Malamutes. These working breeds need homes that understand their activity levels, personality traits, and grooming needs, and Kristina and the NORDIC team are dedicated to finding the right fit for each dog.
