Yeti is one of the sweetest boys we’ve ever met! He turns 2 in August and is so calm and gentle. A Samoyed mix from a hoarder situation in Iowa, we initially rescued him in March. He’s back at HQ because his foster family went on vacation to Alaska, so it’s the perfect time to find his forever family.

Yeti is a perfect leash walker - he doesn’t pull and isn’t reactive whatsoever, so he’s a great walking companion. He does great with other dogs and warms up to people pretty quickly. He has done well with dogs of all ages and sizes so far, from small senior dogs to 10-month old husky puppies.

He rides great in the car and loves a good snuggle. He’s an incredible dog!

Yeti would be fine as an only dog or joining a pack. His calm demeanor and even temperament make him the perfect adventure pal, so count him in for patios, walks, hikes, picnics…whatever you can imagine! But he’s also down for a night in with a movie or a good book.
