Athena was picked up in Illinois as a stray and put on the Euthanasia list at an overcrowded animal control facility. She is as stunning as she is sweet!

This little lady is 50 pounds of love, energy, and speed. She loves to lead the lap running during group play time, is great with other dogs, and is confident!

Athena does great on leash and in the car. She’d rather be loose than in a crate, but she settles within a few minutes and sleeps soundly in it all night.

Athena loves to play and be petted. She’ll chase toys or balls that you throw, but hasn’t yet mastered the art of bringing them back to you. She loves to sit on your lap or snuggle up on the couch!

Wherever she’s taken, she gets lots of compliments about how beautiful she is. Photos just don’t do her justice!

Adoption fee: $625
