Max is the absolute sweetest husky we have ever met! He was surrendered by his previous family due to health issues and lack of time to take care of him.

This boy is amazing - walks great on leash, rides like a dream in the car, and wants to go everywhere with you! Understandably, he has some separation anxiety, and we don’t blame him.

Max is content just to be near you. He is affectionate and great with other dogs of all ages and sizes. Max doesn’t like being left alone in a crate - he can houdini his way out of a wire crate unless it’s reinforced with carabiners. He seems to do better in a crate if he has another crated dog next to him, though.

Max does great being groomed - he is completely unfazed by nail trimming, bathing, and even the blowdryer!

The perfect home for Max would be someone who works from home, an active household where there’s always someone around, or with a patient person/family who can address his separation anxiety with a steady routine and reassurance.
