Wilson - Adopt
Wilson has a lot of great qualities - he is a sweet 12 and a half year old boy who really enjoys being outside, especially when temps are on the cooler side. He is not fond of being in the house if it’s too warm. Wilson enjoys a nice chew toy or high-value treat!
Wilson has acclimated to the house life and his foster mom has been leaving him out of his kennel overnight and if she leaves the house, and he’s been doing great! His first week or so, he did chew on a roku remote, but nothing since - not even one of the many shoes near the door! Good boy, Wilson!
He likes his kibble moistened - it must taste better that way. He’s not very active right now because his muscles need some strength and conditioning after being chained outside for so long. He likes going for walks, but he doesn’t jump onto furniture or into cars, so he needs to be lifted until his legs get stronger.
Wilson likes being groomed and brushed, and loves pets and belly rubs. He will bark when he needs something (like your attention), but he doesn’t bark at strangers or other dogs. His foster mom says she’s never heard him growl and he has not shown any reactivity towards people or other dogs - not even a bark!
Wilson’s ideal home would have a fenced yard that he could play in, a low to moderate level of activity to help build up his stamina, and lots of love!
Adoption fee: $425
